Caribbean Luffa Soaps

Whether you spell it Loofah or Luffa, it's the same natural vine native to Southeast Asia, now commonly found growing in the Tropics and Subtropics. Part of the cucumber family, the luffa is a fruit and can be eaten. For decor, skincare, and cleaning uses, they are usually dried on the vine. The remaining plant fiber is the spongy, crunchy, all natural, exfoliating slice of goodness you see in these soaps. They are quite scratchy to start with, but when wet, they begin softening and create a perfect texture for scrubbing feet and other tough areas of skin.

The colors and fragrances I've used in these full size 4 oz rounds are inspired by the beauty and wonder of the Caribbean Sea & the Caribbean Islands. Crystal blue-green waters & exotic sea life; colorful, fragrant flowers & lush green vegetation; and sweet,  juicy, mouth-watering fruit. Caribbean Rum Punch is calling my name...
